Comic T-Ray Sanders performs a unique pep rally style of comedy here at the Comedy House. It is a hit with audiences at comedy clubs across the country, generating plenty of laughs, but also sending out a message of motivation.

His television appearances include BET Comic View, Late Nite Laugh Off and Eddie Murphy’s, “Murphy’s Law 07”

When you here the name Thomas Ray Sanders, you probably assume he is just another average guy, but when you hear him called by his popular stage name “Comedian T-Ray” you know he is anything but average! T-Ray Sanders, grew up with his grandmother in High Point, N.C.. She knew he was anything, but average. Childhood memories include singing in the church choir & giving the graduation speech for his 5th grade class.

He was chose for both due to his extremely loud voice, which caused him to stand out in any crowd. This over whelming presence is what led him into his current career of acting and comedy.

T-Ray Jumpin Around

T-Ray performed his first comedy act his senior year of high school. This was the beginning of his love for the stage, known again, for his LOUD voice. Has performed in several stage plays during his lifetime. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, INC. and a Greek Step Show Performer.

T-Ray has been on a road to Hollywood that has allowed him to do stand-up comedy with Chris Tucker, Eddie Griffin, Cheryl Underwood, A.J. Johnson, J.B. Smoove, Katt Williams, Arnez J, Gary Owens, Tyler Craig, Zooman Miller and many more.

Tony Tone

Tony Tone a/k/a Tony Luewellyn is a veteran comedian/actor who for almost 20 years has been providing continuous entertainment with his mastery of impressions and real life humor. Tony Tone has appeared on HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam,” BET’s “Comic View,” “Byron Allen’s Comics Unleashed,” NBC’s “Later”, “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and more.

He has also shared the stage with other respected comedians including Bill Bellamy, Dave Chapelle, Chris Tucker, Chris Rock, Steve Harvey, John Witherspoon, Bernie Mac and Cedric the Entertainer just to name a few.

For the last three years Tony Tone served as Ringmaster for the historic UniverSoul Circus, also known as “Hip-Hop Under the Big Top,” allowing him to showcase his comedic talents to an entire new audience. The New York Times raved about Tone’s performance declaring, “he delivers ad libs…that a lesser professional would milk too hard.”

From the moment Tony Tone’s spontaneous personality steps on stage, all eyes are on him, the laughter begins and is never ending. Anything from anecdotes of family members, playing out the roles of the good ol’ boys, to the impressions of familiar household names, Tony is the cutting edge of comedy. There is truly no adjective to define his unique style.

TK Kirkland

Terence ‘TK’ Kirkland is a well-respected comedian, podcast host, writer, businessman, motivator, and actor with 35+ years of experience in the entertainment industry.

His introduction to stardom began as the first comedic opening act for a rap concert when he toured with the legendary group NWA. Since then, TK has shared the stage with a multitude of celebrities including: Outcast, Ludacris, Jay-Z, Cash Money Millionaires, Ruff Ryders, DMX, 50 Cent, TuPac, and countless others.

TK was born in Jersey City, New Jersey but grew up on the streets of Compton, California. His national notoriety began as a stand-out in track & field at Henry Snyder High School. TK’s natural athleticism and drive allowed him to secure a scholarship to California State where he graduated with an MBA.

TK is a prolific writer possessing the natural ability to captivate his audience through laughter and real-life experiences. He collaborated with HBO and starred in “Mo’ Funny: Black Comedy in America.” The reviews were astounding – TK was compared to the legendary comedy styles of Richard Pryor, Redd Foxx, and Moms Mabley.

Possessing talents beyond the stage, TK immersed himself into opportunities that included writing and producing on projects such as BET ComicView, Laffapolooza and MAD Sports. He also started a management company that launched the careers of Jamie Foxx, DL Hughley, and Mike Epps. TK later partnered with Tommy Castro and David Clingman to start the Artistry Management Firm. This collaboration allowed TK to work with critically acclaimed actors such as Sandra Bullock, Anthony Michael Hall, and John Leguizamo.

Some of TK’s cherished memories include: Master of Ceremonies at the Coliseum in Oakland during President Nelson Mandela’s US tour; presenting his lifetime friend and colleague, Martin Lawrence, with a Soul Train Award; and being a recipient of the coveted Redd Foxx Award (2019) for his long-lasting impact to comedy.

It has been often said that TK’s comedy circuit has been the best kept secret for over several decades. In addition to maintaining a robust schedule of sold-out live performances at theatres, concerts and comedy clubs TK is a regular featured guest on television, podcasts, local, and syndicated radio shows across the nation. Some of his notable appearances include: VLAD TV, Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson, The 85 South Show, The Breakfast Club, and Drink Champs.

As a content owner, TK released his first stand-up special “Are There Any Questions” in 2008. In 2017 TK began to share his signature blunt advice and inspiration with a wider audience through the launch of his popular podcast the TK Kirkland Show – rated as a Top 50 podcast nationwide. As a strong follow, his first streaming special “Who Raised You” quickly became the #1 comedy event on Amazon Prime when it released in 2019.

Despite his success, TK maintains a passion for inspiring others to see past their circumstances. He has donated time at Montclair School with their Upward Bound Program and at The Academy for Urban Scholars, servicing at-risk high school students. His dedication to inspire change goes beyond young men and women who want an education. TK has also lent his time to those ensnared in and out of the justice system with the Scared Straight program.

Aligned with his devotion to health and wellness, TK worked with John Gregory as he created the framework for the National African American Male Wellness Walk/Run Initiative. This initiative allows men and their families to obtain free health screenings and raises awareness in living a healthier lifestyle.

As a catalyst in politics, TK’s urban initiatives have included: Campaigning for Congresswoman Maxine Waters, serving as a commissioned volunteer to Johnnie Cochran, speaking at racial equality rallies, using his podcast as a platform to encourage voting, and promoting Covid safety protocols.

TK is a firm believer in what lives on after your death is how your life will be remembered. He is a loving father who is passionate about his children’s overall well-being and leaving a legacy that shows what dedication and drive can accomplish. TK remains one of the most influential comedians working in comedy today and continues to approach each day as if it is his last.

Tone Bell

Tone Bell is an actor, writer, and comedian known most recently for starring as John Levy alongside Oscar nominee and Golden Globe winner Andra Day in Lee Daniels’ award-winning film THE U.S. VS. BILLIE HOLIDAY.

Tone also starred as comedic legend Richard Pryor in BET’s AMERICAN SOUL and opposite Nina Dobrev in the CBS series FAM. He has also been seen co-starring with Kathy Bates in Netflix’s original comedy series DISJOINTED. Tone guest-starred on the current season of HBO Max’s A BLACK LADY SKETCH SHOW, which has been nominated for 8 Emmys.

As an accomplished stand-up comic who tours nationwide, Tone filmed his first one-hour comedy special for Showtime, which began airing in February 2019. TONE BELL: CAN’T CANCEL THIS can currently be seen on Showtime, Showtime Demand, Showtime Anytime, Hulu and Amazon Prime.

Tone also co-starred in the Emmy-nominated film SYLVIE’S LOVE with Tessa Thompson and Eva Longoria, which premiered at Sundance in January 2020 and was distributed by Amazon. Tone’s other films, LITTLE, starring Issa Rae, Regina Hall and Marsai Martin and produced by Will Packer, as well as DOG DAYS starring Nina Dobrev, Vanessa Hudgens, Rob Corddry, and Adam Pally are available on Hulu, as well as DVD and Blu-ray.
