Starring for seven seasons on NBC’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning “30 Rock,” Tracy Morgan appeared opposite Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin as “Tracy Jordan,” the unpredictable star of Lemon’s (Fey) hit variety show, “TGS with Tracy Jordan.” In 2009 Morgan received his first Emmy Nomination for this role, in the Supporting Actor category; he has in six past years also been nominated for a Supporting Actor NAACP Image Award. The “30 Rock” cast has also won the Screen Actors Guild Award for “Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.” The beloved series came to an end in January 2013.

While on a standup comedy tour in 2014, Morgan was critically injured in a serious car accident that prevented the comedian from continuing to work and tour. After months of rehabilitation, Tracy returned in an exclusive interview with TODAY Show’s Matt Lauer where he expressed his grief for the incident as well as his goals to come back to the entertainment world. The FXX Studios untitled comedy series created by RCG productions, toplined by Morgan, remains on hold. In June 2015, Tracy was selected to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the 2016 class. Starting September the same year, Morgan began filming his next role in the upcoming comedy, FIST FIGHT, staring Ice Cube and Charlie Day.

In April 2014, Tracy released a standup special for Comedy Central, titled Tracy Morgan: Bona Fide, which brought Comedy Central one of its largest viewership for a standup special in 2014. Even adding host to his line of credits, Morgan served as the 2013 Billboard Music Awards host, where he kept the laughs going on ABC’s LIVE broadcast in May.
With comedy always as his foundation, Morgan has begun tackling dramas and independent films. In 2010, he starred alongside Al Pacino and Channing Tatum in the crime-thriller THE SON OF NO ONE which received Sundance Film Festival honors. In August 2012, WHY STOP NOW bowed, which was also an official selection at Sundance. The film is centered on a piano prodigy (Jesse Eisenberg) who on the day of a big audition winds up on a drug-fueled odyssey with his addled mother (Melissa Leo) and her drug dealer, Sprinkles, played by Morgan.

Morgan has also had the opportunity to be a part of some of the most successful animated films in recent years. In 2009, he made his animation debut lending his voice for Jerry Bruckheimer’s G-FORCE, a combination live-action/CG film. The film opened number one in US box offices and was celebrated by audiences worldwide. In 2013, he starred as the bulldog, Luiz, in the colorful and lively film RIO and again in April 2014 when he reprised his role in RIO 2. Morgan’s voice can also be heard in the Oscar-nominated film, BOXTROLLS, as one of the film’s antagonist, Mr. Gristle.


Another milestone for Morgan was reached in 2009 with the release of his first book, a compilation of studied anecdotes and some of the more serious moments that shaped him and his career entitled I Am The New Black. He also headlined the famed “New York Comedy Festival” which featured acclaimed comedians including Bill Maher, Andy Samberg, and Patton Oswalt, among others. Lastly, Morgan rounded out his list of great comedic achievements with his first HBO Special, “Black & Blue.”

Continuously touring the country doing what he loves the most, stand-up comedy, Morgan has headlined across the country and abroad on various tours and festivals. He was first introduced to television audiences in his role as “Hustleman” on the hit comedy series “Martin.” He went on to join “Saturday Night Live” in 1996 where he appeared for seven seasons and created such memorable characters as “Astronaut Jones” and “Brian Fellows.” After leaving SNL, Morgan went on to star in his own comedy series “The Tracy Morgan Show” and voiced “Spoonie Luv” on Comedy Central’s “Crank Yankers.” Additional film credits include: COP OUT, the remake of the British film DEATH AT A FUNERAL, Dimension Films’ SUPERHERO MOVIE, FIRST SUNDAY opposite Ice Cube and Katt Williams, THE LONGEST YARD opposite Adam Sandler, the Wayan’s brothers LITTLE MAN, JAY AND SILENT BOB STRIKE BACK AND HEAD OF STATE.

Reginald “Bruh-Man” Ballard

Reginald Ballard is an American character actor and comedian from Galveston, Texas, who is probably best known as “Bruh-man from the fifth flo'” (he would often hold up four fingers when saying this) in the Fox sitcom Martin.

After graduation from Ball High School, where he was an all district linebacker, Ballard earned a full football scholarship to Southern Methodist University, where he was also a theatre major. Just before his senior year, Ballard transferred to the University of Missouri, where he continued to play football, while continuing to act, appearing in a university production of A Soldier’s Story in the role of C.J. Memphis.

Spurning overtures from pro-football, Ballard headed to Hollywood to pursue his acting career. His film debut was in 1989’s Lock Up. He has appeared in many different television shows, such as Veronica Mars (the episode “Return of the Kane”), The Bernie Mac Show, The Parkers, Sister, Sister, Just Jordan, and the short-lived show, Crumbs. He co-starred in the independent film Big Ain’t Bad as Butch.

Currently, Ballard is performing stand up comedy and making movies in Hollywood.

John Morgan

John Morgan, the Ragin Cajun was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. The cultural, political and economic diversity of that city laid the groundwork for his development as a performer. John is one of nine children and after high school he attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana Lafayette) where he earned degrees in English, Political Science, and Interpersonal Communications. It was during his college career that John discovered he had the gift of comedy.

The “Ragin Cajun” gives parents a “talk” about how to raise children with manners. He thinks we are afraid to bust an ass! The stories will have you busting a gut with laughter! John dares to talk boldly about real issues. Whether he is speaking about children or relationships, his comedy comes from life experience with his wife and kids. Although his material may push some limits, it is never derogatory to any race, sex or creed. He finishes with a heartfelt patriotic theme making his show perfect for Armed Services Week.

John has worked steadily at comedy clubs, corporate events, and musical arenas. He has made national television appearances on MTV, Showtime, and Night Watch with Charlie Rose. He has been the opening act for Jerry Seinfeld, Kathleen Madigan and numerous musical artists.

Carlos Mencia

Mencia began his career doing stand-up on amateur night at the world renowned comedy club, Laugh Factory. He later showcased at The Comedy Store and became a regular, performing nightly. After he found success on the L.A comedy circuit, Mencia was named “International Comedy Grand Champion” from Buscando Estrellas (the Latino version of Star Search). This led to appearances on “In Living Color,” “The Arsenio Hall Show,” “Moesha” and “An Evening at the Improv.”

Mencia comes from a humble background, born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, the 17th of 18 children. His parents sent him to the United States when he was about three months old, where he was raised in the Maravilla Projects in Los Angeles, California by his aunt and uncle. In his early teens, Mencia moved back to Honduras because his family wanted him to avoid the destructive gang culture of East Los Angeles. When Mencia later returned to Los Angeles, he showed such educational prowess that he was immediately promoted to the tenth grade. Soon after, he successfully graduated from Garfield High School.

Mencia continued his journey up the comedy ladder by headlining “The Three Amigos” tour with Freddy Soto and Pablo Francisco in 2002, which sold out in record time around the United States. He was also featured in the independent films, “Outta Time” and “29 Palms” and starred in guest spots on “The Shield” and “The Bernie Mac Show,” among others. In 2002, he received a CableACE Award nomination for Best Stand-Up Comedy Special for his HBO special. That same year, “Mind of Mencia” went into development. The show was an instant hit and after the first season, Comedy Central signed Mencia back for his own original stand-up special, “Carlos Mencia: No Strings Attached.” The special was the first Comedy Central Stand-up Special DVD to achieve Platinum sales status.

“Mind of Mencia” debuted on Comedy Central in early 2005. It became one of the strongest shows in the network’s history, averaging about 1.5 million total viewers. “Mind of Mencia” was executive produced by Carlos Mencia and Robert Morton (“Late Night with David Letterman”).

in 2007, Mencia embarked on a USO Tour to the Persian Gulf to entertain the troops serving overseas. For his 2008 trip, Mencia visited Kuwait to host “Operation MySpace,” an exclusive concert for American Troops in the Middle East alongside Jessica Simpson and The Pussycat Dolls. The special aired on FX in April 2008. Mencia’s 2009 USO tour had stops in Turkey, Kirkuk, Baghdad, Qatar, Afghanistan, and many other countries.

Most recently, Mencia has gone back to his comedic roots, performing at a number of comedy venues – allowing him to share his newest material with a more intimate audience. His current tour, called the “C 4 Urself Tour,” has been making stops all around the country, performing to eager audiences.
