Double D

Double DDegario “Double D” Turner is by far one of the most fun loving comedians out on the circuit today. HIs comedic style is his personality, mostly real life situations that he converts into eye tearing jokes. His dialog is light-hearted and refreshingly hilarious, which adds to a perfect blend of comedy that is guaranteed to leave everyone laughing in their seats.

Degario “Double D” Turner coined the name “Double D” due to having a speech impediment (stuttering) and always saying things twice, hence the comedic name “Double D” The unique thing about his comedic delivery is that he does not stutter on stage.

His star potential extends as a skilled writer with the ability to write for other comedians regardless of their style or age. This young gifted comedian from Sparta, GA , migrated to Atlanta in 1991 to hone his comedic skills. In less than two years he became so impressive that many veteran comics wanted him to accompany then on the road.

In just a short time in the business, Degario “Double D” Turner has performed in every major city at various events/venues, clubs, and theaters. He has opened and featured for major acts such as: John Witherspoon, Mark Curry, Don DC Curry, Sommore, Bruce Bruce, Chris Tucker, Gary Owens, Rickey Smiley, Monique, Katt Williams, Mike Epps, and Tyler Craig. Double D has also been the headlining act of the RJE Comedy/Poetry Cabaret Tour for the past 10 years.

Double D made his television debut on BET’s Comic View in 2000. He then returned in 2001, 2002, and 2005. Just recently Double D was the opening act on the Royal Comedy Tour with names like Sommore, Don DC Curry, J Anthony Brown & D.L. Hugley. (2010)

Double D has a warm spirit that makes you feel you’ve known him personally for a very long time. He travels extensively overseas to various countries sharing his brand of humor. He always deliver a great performance. He loves meeting his audience after each performance to thank them personally for coming out. Corwin O aka C-Dawg

Corwin O., or to his friends and fans “C-Dawg” is a fresh new face on the comedy circuit. Corwin O.’s silly, care-free style of comedy is an as fun to watch as it is to hear. He draws you into his hilarious comedy world with his likeable, animated story telling and his flair for free-style that hooks audiences and keeps them eagerly wondering what he may do next!

Corwin O. is a native of Atlanta, GA and follows the funny southern tradition of another Atlanta native, Chris Tucker. Corwin O. is a regular host of The Uptown Comedy Club in Atlanta. Corwin O. has shared the stage with some of the best and brightest in comedy, including Chris Tucker, Jamie Foxx, Steve Harvey, and Monique! He continues to tour comedy Clubs, Colleges, and is nationally recognized as a favorite on BET’s Comic View. Corwin O. is a definite must see! He is funny, powerful, lovable, silly and commanding as a southern preacher!!! Also he can be silly as a six year old. Corwin O. is guaranteed to please all!

Drew Fraser

Drew FraserDrew Fraser began his career in Boston, Massachusetts at the world’s famous “Nick’s Comedy Stop.” He later moved to New York City where his career took off. His first television appearance was on “Showtime At The Apollo”. Since then, Drew Fraser has been seen on Russell Simmons’ “Def Comedy Jam”, “BET Comic View” and has made performances all over the world, including London, Holland, Bermuda, and Australia. Drew Fraser also have several music videos to add to his list of performance credits.

Drew Fraser has received many awards for his stand-up acts, including the “New York City’s Funniest Male Comedian” award in 1996. In 1999, Drew Fraser won honors in third place a the Urban Comedy Awards as well as performing at The Melbourne Comedy Festival in Australia. In 2010, Drew stole the First Place Prize in Nephew Tommy’s 50 Comics Deep here at the Comedy House.

The Apollo Theatre Amateur Night in HarlemDrew Fraser has hosted “Amateur Night” at the world’s famous Apollo Theater in New York City. He continues to be a popular warm up comic, Drew has done warm-ups for TV shows including “The Queen Latifah Show” and the “Tyra Banks Show.” Drew has also hosted R&B Live @ Spotlight as well as the “The Wendy Williams Comedy Experience” at Caroline’s Comedy Club.

Kyle Erby

Kyle ErbyKyle Erby is an up and coming American comedian and host of Kyle Erby Male Rights Activist. He started in show business as an intern at “The Tonight Show.” After being told by Jay Leno that he should try stand-up, Kyle left the Tonight Show to pursue his own career. Since leaving the show, Kyle has headlined all across the United States and returned to the Tonight Show to act in several sketches. He’s also sold monologue material to his old Tonight Show boss.

While Jay had his stint with the “Jay Leno Show”, Kyle returned to the Leno family to act in a sketch with the “Dan Band” and was a featured comedian on Jay Leno’s “Laugh Squad.”

Kyle has appeared in various movies including “House Party 4,” and the HBO film “Tempted” starring Burt Reynolds. He’s done commercials for Pepsi, Chinet Paper Plates, Pringles, Sponge Bob, Wal Mart, Radio Shack with Howie Long and Terry Bradshaw, Miller Lite and a Bud Light ad with Carlos Mencia that was shown during the “Super Bowl.”

Most recently, Kyle was filmed by Fuel TV doing stand-up comedy at Emmy Winner Brad Garrett’s Comedy club inside the Tropicana in Las Vegas. Fuel TV is set to run Kyle’s performance as well as his “Man on the Street” interviews with him joking around as the “Male Rights Activist” for their Mountain Dew Green Label Experience campaign.

Kyle can be heard on “The Sheryl Underwood Show” every Tuesday night at 7pm PST on the Foxxhole, Sirius 106 and XM 149, owned by Oscar Winner Jamie Foxx. Kyle is the show’s weekly co-host and guest host when Sheryl Underwood is away.

Finesse Mitchell


Finesse Mitchell is a comedian, actor, author and emcee.

Now starring on the Disney Channel’s #1 hit show A.N.T. Farm as Chyna’s Dad a.k.a Officer Darryl Parks… Finesse has not slowed down one bit. From BET’s “Comic View” to “The Tyra Banks Show” from “Comedy Central Presents…” to the “Today Show”, Finesse Mitchell got his first big break when he was asked to be a feature player on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” and was promoted to cast member in 2005. Long before becoming a regular on SNL, this author, actor and former insurance salesman made an impact in the world of stand-up comedy, with sold-out live performances all over the country and abroad.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Finesse graduated from the University of Miami. A former member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. student-athlete who was a walk-on for the Hurricanes football team.

Finesse is also a writer for ESSENCE Magazine. His monthly column, “Oh, Brother!”, offers up hip, hilarious and honest relationship advice to over 1 million ESSENCE readers.

In 2007, Finesse authored his first book, “Your Girlfriends Only Know So Much”, (Simon Spotlight), giving no-holds barred dating advice to women needing real answers to the same old, baffling relationship questions.

The funny man can also be seen in the movies “Who’s Your Caddy?,” “The Comebacks” and “Mad Money.”
