I know just enough to be successful and dangerous!

Spanky Brown | RIP

Spanky was 56 when he passed away of an apparent heart attack just before playing a show in Knoxville in 2018.

Starting his comedy career in late November 1997 on Open Mic Night at the Comedy House Theatre in Savannah, Georgia, Spanky Brown has been leaving audiences reeling with laughter ever since.

Spanky has toured the world sharing his unique perspective and opinions on everything from his life, politics and religion, race relations and relationships. Versatility and style best describe this veteran performer who provides comedic insights that transcend all barriers, age, gender, urban or mainstream. Crowds are no obstacle for this entertainer.

His personal account of triumphs and tragedies and unbridled opinions are for all those who really try to “keep it real “. His experiences as a “Preacher’s Son” (even God knows he’s funny), as an advertising executive, car salesman, insurance salesman, radio personality, father, step-father, being married, divorced, married and divorced…again ( you do the math ) even served time … in the army that is, and his honesty about it is what makes him such an endearing character as much as his willingness to let you in so you can see that truly “it could be worse”.

Spanky is a 19-year veteran of the comedy stage. He tours nationally on a consistent basis and is one of the most requested return comedians in comedy clubs around the United States.

Spanky Brown

The small screen loves Spanky. He is seen regularly on B.E.T’s Comic View and Comedy Central. Spanky has been featured on Discovery I.D. and the Speed Network. He is also the former host of “Barbershop Critics” on The Black Family Channel.

Spanky’s real life comedy style shines on radio. He is a former contributing writer and frequent guest on National Syndicated shows like “The Tom Joyner Morning Show” and “The Bob and Tom Radio Show”, respectively. His standup is played frequently on XM / Sirius Satellite radio and NOW, the next phase of his WORLD DOMINATION (or, in other words…SPANK-APOCALYPSE!!!).

Tyler Craig | RIP

Tyler Craig

It is with great sadness we tell you that our friend Tyler Craig has passed away. Tyler Craig has dominated comedy specials on BET, HBO and Showtime in the previous decade. He performed two and three times a year at the Comedy House, Columbia SC. He truly made thousands laugh in Columbia SC. Rest In Peace, Tyler Craig. Now you know the morale of the story!

Micro Wrestling

These micro athletes are ready to entertain you for 90 minutes with a minimum of 4 matches. Free autographs/pictures for each fan after the completion of the last match.

The Micro Wrestling Federation is a full-scale, WWE type event supported by an entire cast under five feet tall. Founded in 2000, the MWF is the longest running organization within the Little Person wrestling industry; no other company has performed in more events since our inception. The Micro Wrestling Federation has been imitated without success as we are the original “MICRO” professional wrestling organization.

The Micro Wrestlers have been featured in Sports Illustrated Magazine, Country Music Television, and the WWE. There is no denying that the Micro Wrestling Federation is the number one Little Person wrestling organization on the planet – high-flying, body slamming, and off the top rope!

Big Rome | RIP

Big Rome

J Anthony Brown introduced Big Rome as BET COMIC VIEW’s favorite comedian. Seen most recently on TVONE’s “Who’s Got Jokes,” Big Rome is a very entertaining stand up comedian. He has been making people laugh since HBO’s Def Comedy Jam.

Big Rome got his start in comedy in Atlanta, Ga. His extreme sarcasm and quick wit has taken him all over the world. He has worked with comedy greats Steve Harvey, D. L. Hughley, Cedric the Entertainer and Bernie Mack, just to name a few. Not only a great comedian, he is a great writer whose had the privilege to write for such T.V. shows as: Showtime at the Apollo and The BET Awards. You’ve seen him on HBO DEF Comedy Jam, Comics Unleashed, Comic View, Robert Townsend Presents and Showtime Big Black Comedy Show. See him live and understand why all the greats say “HE” is the “ONE” to look out for.
